What do you think Washington’s most important job is today?
Ending Joe Biden’s border crisis?
or
Funding the Deep State?
That is the question waiting for Senate Republicans this month when they return to the nation’s capital.
Temporary funding for federal agencies starts running out on January 19. Conservatives in the House of Representatives, the Senate, and around the country have already made their choice.
They’ve had enough of President Biden’s lawless border emergency.
As he has for three years, Biden has the power right now to end the crisis. He could seal the border, turn away illegal immigrants, and protect our nation from the drugs and violent criminals being smuggled in among the migrants today!
But he won’t. Because Joe Biden believes congressional Republicans care more about funding the government than about controlling our own borders.
We’ll soon find out if he’s right.

Senate Republicans are reportedly trying to negotiate a new border deal with Democrats. But since when did our national sovereignty and the rule of law become bargaining chips?
The House already passed a border security bill, H.R. 2. It would do everything Donald Trump did to stop illegal immigration — and more.
If Joe Biden and Senate Democrats want the government funded in 2024, they can pass H.R. 2 and sign it into law.
If the president is unwilling to do that — to fulfill his oath of office — Republicans should let him shut down the federal government. And let him explain to the American people why illegal immigrants matter more to him than the rule of law.
Senate Republicans cannot force Biden to do his job. But they can deny Biden their votes for his corrupt policies and failed presidency.
But will they? That’s the only question now.
Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) is with us.
Will Mitch McConnell help Joe Biden continue to betray the Constitution? Will establishment Republicans help their corporate donors keep the federal gravy train flowing, even if it means fueling a fentanyl crisis in our communities?
In short, will Senate Republicans hold the line? Will they lead and fight? Will 2024 finally be the year Senate Republicans stand with conservatives and win?
We will know soon. The clock is ticking. And with Senate primaries just around the corner, Senate Conservatives Fund and grassroots conservatives around the country will be watching very closely.
