Donald Trump did not drive Democrats crazy; he is just revealing their madness
President Donald Trump’s speech to Congress Tuesday night was a new high point in his storied political career — the culmination of a historic comeback.
It also marked an embarrassing new low for the modern Democrat Party.
Throughout Trump’s upbeat, positive, unifying address, congressional Democrats glowered, pouted, and even disrupted the president.
The highlights — or rather, lowlights — are hard to believe.
Rep. Al Green stood up in the middle of the speech and interrupted Trump. He shouted and waved his cane until he had to be removed from the chamber — while his embarrassed fellow Democrats tried to hide from the cameras.
But Green’s colleagues behaved little better.
Many wore pink in supposed solidarity with women. Except when Trump spoke about protecting women and girls from the unfairness and dangers of biological males invading their sports leagues, the Pink Democrats sat on their hands.
Many Democrats carried little paddles with messages on them — a silly stunt that even left-wing talk show hosts mocked.
For over an hour, President Trump laid out his Common Sense Revolution:
Securing the border
Going after drug cartels and criminal gangs
Ending DEI bigotry in federal agencies
Barring Critical Race Theory in schools
Unleashing American energy
Eliminating wasteful and abusive spending
Streamlining government bureaucracy
Each of these is a 70-30 or even 80-20 issue. And on every one, Democrats sided with the fringe! Polls and focus groups found the speech incredibly popular — yet line after line, Democrats pouted like petulant children.
Then it got even worse!
Democrats couldn’t even clap for a 12-year-old boy fighting brain cancer who was made an honorary agent of the U.S. Secret Service! In the aftermath of the speech, one left-wing pundit tried to score points speculating about the child’s future suicide!
It’s shocking and sickening. But it’s also not a surprise. This is who the Left has always been. Donald Trump did not drive Democrats crazy — he is just revealing their madness to the country.
This is the power of fighting. It forces both sides to show their true colors. This should be the playbook for every Republican running for any office across the country. And it will be the playbook for every candidate the Senate Conservatives Fund endorses in 2026.
