The "Give Up Caucus" Sinks to New Low
RINOs rebuff President Trump's call to fight for election integrity
“The Senate is broken, and it’s broken because we have too many Republicans who are either too liberal or too lazy to fight for our country’s future.”
That’s what we wrote last week as President Trump prepared to face off against the Senate’s “Give Up Caucus.” They’re the Establishment RINOs — and the plain old lazy bums — standing between America and the passage of federal voter ID reform.
Voter ID is supported by 80% of Americans. Multiple versions of it have already passed the House of Representatives. One version just got 50 votes in the Senate. Senate Republicans have the votes to pass the bill. And they have multiple options for passing it:
Attaching voter ID to a must-pass spending bill;
Including it in a filibuster-proof budget bill;
Forcing Democrats to conduct a “talking filibuster” until THEY give up;
Nuking the filibuster and passing the SAVE Act on a party-line vote.
None of these options would be easy. None is guaranteed. But all could work. If they’re willing to put in the time, Congress could pass voter ID this summer.
But last week, the “Give Up Caucus” rejected all of these options. Instead, they voted to take a two-week recess!

That’s right. The Senate is now on vacation until July 13. (They are planning another five-week recess in August!) That’s what they are doing rather than fighting to pass voter ID.
If you ever wondered why the Senate Conservatives Fund exists… why we focus on electing principled patriots to the U.S. Senate, THIS is the reason.
The “Give Up Caucus” is the reason!
We cannot save America unless we change the Senate. And we cannot change the Senate unless we change the Senators.
SCF’s Senators are the best of the best. They are the ones fighting the Left and the Establishment:
Mike Lee.
Ted Cruz.
Eric Schmitt.
Rick Scott.
Ron Johnson.
Our candidates are warriors for freedom, too. They’re the future of the conservative movement. If we can elect fighters like Ken Paxton (TX), Harriet Hageman (WY), Barry Moore (AL), Mike Collins (GA), Kevin Hern (OK), and Ashley Moody (FL), they will help put the “Give Up Caucus” out of business.
If you’re tired of complaining about Do-Nothing Republicans — and you’re ready to do something about it — support SCF and our candidates today.
The deadline for contributions to be counted in the 2nd Quarter is Tuesday night. Now is the time to take action.
Thank you for being part of our team and for doing so much to help fight for America’s future.
