State Attorney General Ken Paxton has taken a slight lead in his Senate race against woke liberal Democrat James Talarico.
A new poll by the University of Texas gives Paxton a 43%-42% lead. That’s a nine-point swing toward Paxton since UT’s April poll. The results align with several other surveys published this month, which give Paxton a narrow edge.
This is good news. It means:
Texas Republicans are lining up behind their nominee.
The media’s smear campaign against Paxton has failed.
And Texans are finally learning who Talarico really is.
If you haven’t heard about James Talarico, you might need to sit down. He’s the one who said:
God is non-binary;
There are six genders;
The Bible is pro-abortion, and
The American flag is a “complicated symbol.”
The latest scandal? In a 2021 interview, Talarico called himself a “Christian who hates Christianity.” And earlier this year, he said Christianity is “the most violent religion” and has done “more damage” than Islam.
