Roger Marshall's Crusade for Patients
New "Marshall Plan" targets Obamacare's fraud, cronyism, and secrecy
Dr. Roger Marshall spent his career in medicine fighting for his patients. Now in the U.S. Senate, the former obstetrician is fighting for all of us. He’s working harder for patient freedom and health care reform than anyone else in Washington.
Most congressional Republicans made peace with government-run health care years ago. Doc Marshall understands that whatever is wrong with the system, socialism isn’t the answer!
Health care is the largest industry in the U.S. economy. We already spend $5 trillion a year on it, and it’s growing larger every year! Yet prices are rising, access is shrinking, and innovation is lagging. Roger Marshall is fighting to fix it all.
His “Marshall Plan” targets some of the biggest problems in the system today:
Fraud. Obamacare was designed to defraud taxpayers and funnel cash to blue state scam artists. Marshall would save billions just by ensuring beneficiaries are actually real people.
Cronyism. Right now, Obamacare takes money from patients and gives it to insurance companies. Marshall would give that money to patients directly, cutting out the crony middlemen.
Hidden Pricing. Under Obamacare, no one knows what health care costs. The Marshall Plan would require price transparency in the industry, empowering patients to shop as other consumers do. This one reform could save trillions.
Obamacare put politicians, bureaucrats, and special interests in charge of American health care. That’s why costs are exploding, and good care is harder than ever to access. The “Affordable Care Act” was a lie.
Every Republican in Congress knows this. But most can’t be bothered to do anything about it. Roger Marshall knows the only way to make health care affordable again is to put patients back at the center where they belong.
All by itself, the Marshall Plan would save patients $1,000 per month. And he’s also introduced legislation to expand access to tele-health, clarify billing, lower prescription drug prices, and fix our broken medical liability system. Taken together, Marshall’s proposals would revolutionize American health care — getting us more care and better coverage at lower prices.
No one else is doing this work. Establishment Republicans are too afraid to fix it; Democrats are too busy profiting off the corruption.
Like abortion, border security, and election security, if conservatives want to fix health care, we’re going to have to do it. Senator Roger Marshall is showing the Republicans how to win this fight.
