Rand Paul Seizing the Moment
The Kentucky senator is fighting to cement President Trump's victories into law
President Donald Trump has notched so many wins over his first few weeks in office that it’s tempting just to sit back and watch him fire bureaucrats, eliminate wasteful spending, and deport criminals.
But Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) is reminding conservatives that it’s not time to pass the popcorn. This a moment to seize, not just enjoy.
It’s a moment Paul has been working toward for years. He has been fighting for many of Trump’s priorities since he first arrived in Washington:
Defunding the Left
Ending forever wars
Auditing the Federal Reserve
Making America healthy again
But instead of just cheering Trump’s early successes, Paul is trying to cement them — permanently — in federal law.
Paul knows it’s not enough for the president to sign Executive Orders on the border, or DEI, or anything else. The next Democrat president could just reverse those. Paul wants Republican leaders to step up and pass legislation making those policies permanent.
The same goes for Trump’s DOGE reforms. It’s great that Elon Musk and his team are identifying waste, fraud, and abuse. But Paul wants to take the next step and end it. That’s why he’s calling on Congress to take up a $500 billion recissions bill to take that money back and erase it from the federal budget.
As Chairman of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, Paul recently held a hearing on corruption and waste in foreign aid programs. His opening statement can be watched here.
On issue after issue — from the Covid coverup to Robert F. Kennedy’s public health crusade to auditing the gold at Fort Knox — Rand Paul is not just cheering. He’s fighting, like he always has.
Rand Paul is one of the most principled and tenacious conservatives in the history of the United States Senate. Since he first took on the Republican establishment to win his Kentucky seat in 2010, he has stopped bad bills, passed good ones, and pulled the GOP to the right.
We may not be able to have 100 Rand Pauls in the Senate, but SCF will always fight to support the one that we have.
You can make it ongoing or set it to last only three months, six months, or a year. And the best part is that he gets to keep 100% of your contribution since SCF pays all the fees and expenses.
Thank you for supporting Rand Paul and our entire team of Senate Conservatives. We’re on the verge of building a lasting legacy for freedom.
Let’s seize the moment and finish what we started!
