On May 22, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) confronted a radical judicial nominee who transferred a 6’2” biological male, convicted serial rapist to a women’s prison.
Sen. Cruz’s brilliant cross-examination of Judge Sarah Netburn exposed her record of prioritizing ideology over individual rights.
On July 11, Judge Netburn’s nomination was put to the Senate Judiciary Committee for a vote.
And by a vote of 11-10, she was rejected!
This win marks the first time a Judiciary Democrat voted against one of Joe Biden’s nominations in committee, which is unheard of in the Democrats’ rubber-stamp Senate. And it was only possible because Ted Cruz and other conservative senators stood up and fought!
Now, with Democrats running away from Mumbling Joe, Netburn’s implosion is only the beginning. Ted Cruz proved conservatives’ core strategic point: when Republicans actually fight, they win.
