Big polling news out of Ohio!
Conservative Bernie Moreno has pulled to within 4 points of liberal Sen. Sherrod Brown in what may be the closest Senate race of 2024.
There are two huge data points in this poll, which shows Brown with 46% and Moreno with 42% as of late July.
First, it shows Bernie has cut Brown’s lead in half since May.
Second, this is the first poll of the cycle with Brown under 50%! This is a HUGE metric for incumbent candidates who are universally known in their states. It’s a signal that Ohio voters do not support Sherrod Brown and are looking for new leadership.
This would be a major story even if this race were a fair fight. But it’s not. As a lifelong politician and chairman of the Senate Banking Committee, Brown’s campaign is cashing checks from special interests left and right. He has spent FOUR TIMES AS MUCH MONEY as Bernie Moreno.
Despite a hurricane of false attacks from Brown and the press, Bernie has closed the Ohio Senate race to a statistical dead heat. Why? Because his message is breaking through.
Ohio is a red state, and Sherrod Brown is as blue as any Democrat in Washington. Unlike Brown, Bernie Moreno actually represents the people and the values of the Buckeye State.
Moreno is a rock-solid conservative on border security, election integrity, ending Bidenomics, and breaking up the Woke Industrial Complex.
