Kentucky is a deep red state. In fact, President Donald Trump just carried it by 30 points against Kamala Harris last November!
In this race, the Republican nominee is almost certainly going to win the general election next November. That makes the Republican primary one of the most important elections of 2026.
The media will call this election a “likely hold” for the GOP. But for conservatives, this is as much of a pickup opportunity as any Democrat-held seat. Replacing Mitch with a real conservative is like winning two seats in one.
Remember, McConnell is one of the primary reasons the Senate Conservatives Fund was created. His betrayal of the Republican voters held back the GOP and hurt the country for years.
