Fighting for the Forgotten Man
Senator Josh Hawley takes on the cultural elites to defend manhood
Josh Hawley is making his mark in the U.S. Senate by focusing on the issues that everyone else in Washington would prefer to ignore. Most members of Congress only pay attention to the media, other politicians, or their donors. That’s why so many of them seem so out of touch.
Josh Hawley ran for the Senate to cure this problem. Democrats and Establishment Republicans don’t like him because, in just one term, he has shown the country — and conservatives especially — what it looks like when a senator really fights for them.
Other politicians talk about the glories of free trade. Josh Hawley talks about the working-class communities their elitist policies leave behind.
Other politicians talk about how technology will save the world. Hawley points out that Big Tech is already doing the opposite: addicting our kids and destroying our social bonds.
Other politicians call China our “strategic partner.” Hawley knows that the Chinese Communist Party is an enemy of freedom and the United States.
Other politicians talk about what immigration can do for our economy. Josh Hawley talks about what immigration has done to our communities: joblessness, suppressed wages, overburdened education and health care systems, and opioids.
Other politicians talk about everything government should do for women. Josh Hawley wants to talk about what government has done to men.
His new book, Manhood: The Masculine Virtues America Needs, is an overdue corrective to the effete, laptop-class elites now calling the shots in Washington, New York, and Silicon Valley.
Hawley’s argument is that cultural elites today encourage people, especially men, to pursue pleasure and comfort and avoid challenge and responsibility. And that it’s making men and women miserable. He’s right, of course. It’s why America today battles crises of mental health and family breakdown at the same time.
The mainstream media is attacking the book, but that’s music to Hawley’s ears. They are the same elites, after all, who destroyed the institution of marriage, outsourced our factories, invited illegal immigrants to compete for young men’s jobs, and put porn in every American’s pocket.
They know exactly what they are doing.
And so does Josh Hawley.
That’s why Senate Conservatives Fund supported Hawley in his first Senate campaign in 2018 — and why he is one of our first endorsements in the 2024 election cycle.
He is fighting the biggest fight of all: to make America remember The Forgotten Man. SCF stands with Josh Hawley in 2024 — and conservatives across the country should, too.
If you want to support Josh Hawley’s fight against the assault on our values, please make a contribution to his campaign. SCF will pay all processing fees and transfer 100% to his campaign.
