Conservatives Lead in May 19 Primaries
Barry Moore and Mike Collins are now leading in recent polls
New polls from Alabama and Georgia give conservative Congressmen Barry Moore and Mike Collins leads heading into their states’ May 19 Republican primary elections. Here’s the latest:
Georgia
In Georgia, an Atlanta Journal-Constitution poll from late April gives Mike Collins a 9-point lead over his nearest rival.
This is excellent news. But the same poll also said 54% of primary voters are still undecided.
This makes the next two weeks critical for Collins’s campaign.
Alabama
In Alabama, four polls were released in April. All four put Moore ahead, some by 18-20 points and others by single digits.
The biggest race on May 19 may be whether Moore can top 50% of the vote in the primary, and thus bypass a runoff election.

Georgia and Alabama are two of the most important Senate races of 2026.
Collins is running for the right to face incumbent Democrat Senator Jon Ossoff. Ossoff is one of those liberals who masquerade as moderates. But his 0% conservative voting record tells the real story. Ossoff is an AOC/Kamala Harris leftist who has no business representing Georgia.
A Collins win in the primary would not only give Republicans their best chance to take back this seat; it would give conservatives our only chance to replace Ossoff with a fighting, principled patriot.
Meanwhile, Barry Moore is in a classic Conservative-versus-Establishment primary fight. This is the race to succeed incumbent Senator Tommy Tuberville, who is running for governor. The Republican nominee is a shoo-in in November. If the Establishment wins this primary, it will be a conservative loss in the Senate.
These are MUST-WIN races for conservatives in 2026. They would notch two huge pickups in their own right — and set the tone for the rest of the summer primary season.
