August Polling Update
Conservatives are running competitive races, but there is much work to be done
With less than three months to go before Election Day, new polls are coming fast and furious. Here’s the latest data from several of our key races across the country.
ALABAMA
Great news. Conservative U.S. Rep. Barry Moore has opened a commanding lead against Democrat Everett Wess in the race to succeed Coach Tommy Tuberville:
Barry Moore 47%
Everett Wess 32%
(Yes. Every Kid. Foundation / July 8-11)
FLORIDA
Conservative Senator Ashley Moody is also polling ahead of the field in the Sunshine State. A recent survey gives her a 10-point lead over her leading Democrat rival, Russia-hoax figure Alexander Vindman.
Ashley Moody 50%
Alexander Vindman 40%
(University of North Florida / July 8-17)
GEORGIA
Polls in Georgia give incumbent Democrat Senator Jon Ossoff a lead over conservative Congressman Mike Collins. The size of the lead has varied week to week depending on the pollster. The most recent survey from mid-July reports a 9-point spread:
Jon Ossoff 52%
Mike Collins 43%
(AARP / July 13-16)
KANSAS
Don’t let this red state fool you. Kansas could be a close race this year. Polls have given Senator Roger Marshall a consistent but modest lead all year. On August 4, Kansas Democrats nominated progressive pastor Adam Hamilton. Hamilton has a huge fundraising network through his megachurch and will be able to spend millions on this race.
The first survey since the primary has Marshall up by only 1 point:
Roger Marshall 46%
Adam Hamilton 45%
(Public Policy Polling / August 7-8)
TEXAS
The race between Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton and woke pastor James Talarico remains neck and neck. Polls throughout July gave Talarico small leads of one to four points. The most recent poll, the only one taken in August, puts Paxton slightly ahead:
Ken Paxton 47%
James Talarico 46%
(Emerson College / August 9-10)
All five of these races are winnable. All five are huge opportunities to help build a conservative Senate. We’ll report back with more polling data as it’s published.
Thank you for your continued support.
