We are proud to announce our endorsement of Senator Ashley Moody in the 2026 U.S. Senate race in Florida.
As you probably know, Moody is still a fresh face in Congress. She was Florida’s Attorney General when Gov. Ron DeSantis selected her in January to replace now-Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
Rubio’s departure could have been a big loss for the Senate and the conservative movement, but in just three months on the job, Moody has proven herself to be a conservative All-Star in her own right.
She has stood with President Trump on social, economic, and foreign policy. She has enthusiastically supported his nominees and his legislative agenda.
She’s also leading on many vital issues.
She introduced a bill cracking down on immigration from communist China. She wrote another that would claw back federal funding from colleges and universities that violate civil rights law.
She has also been a strong advocate for the policies that have made Florida one of the most successful states in the country.
We should not be surprised. As President Trump and Gov. DeSantis knew, Moody was the real deal before she arrived in Washington.
As Florida’s Attorney General, she was instrumental in winning fights against leftist ballot initiatives on abortion and drug legalization.
She joined a multi-state lawsuit against 2020 election fraud.
She called out the terrible border deal that Establishment Republicans negotiated with President Biden.
She stood up for Floridians’ rights against the COVID scolds during the pandemic.
And of course, for six years, she led Florida’s world-class prosecutors and law enforcement agencies.
Ashley Moody is already an excellent Senator, and SCF is committed to helping her stay on the job. But it won’t be easy.
The special election next year is only to serve for another two years. If she wins, she must run again in 2028 for a full six-year term.
Moody will need help from around the country to raise the money she needs for two elections in two years.
